# The missing half

Frontier capability and domain expertise are two different kinds of knowledge. Value compounds where they converge.

Frontier researchers and early adopters know what current AI can do. They probe the models daily, spot emergent behaviors, and **build leverage** before the rest of the market catches on.

Domain experts know something else. They know which problems are worth solving. They've spent years inside workflows, spotting where **judgment matters**, and tracing the edges of intractable problems.

**Value compounds** when these two kinds of knowledge converge. A fintech team that understands transaction patterns. A food scientist who knows what it takes to methodically develop an innovative formulation. The capability is generation-defining but generic. The application is specific.

Most companies have the domain expertise. Few have a partner who can identify the high-value cases, build the primitives to prototype against them, and carry the work from **prototype to production**. **That's the gap we work in.**
